About Plaidsylvania
Our plaid theme is based on a mix of fiscally conservative red threads woven with socially progressive blue threads. There is strength in a moderate view that sets reasonable limits on the government – limits on taxation, limits on the ability to pass laws and regulations that trespass upon personal freedom. Lincoln spoke of “Government of the people, by the people, for the people”. That remains a noble goal.
